While touring throughout British Columbia, Canada, the Old
Country Market in Coombs is a must see destination. The Market
is famous for its "goats on the roof". For almost
25 years, the new millenium marking our Silver anniversary,
the goats have posed for many a picture.
Situated 12km west of Parksville on the Port Alberni Highway
#4, you will find a great market on the left-hand side of
the road. The Old Country Market has goats grazing on a sod
roof. It is a popular tourist attraction (the locals like
it, too!) and offers
a wide range of fresh produce, fruit, fish, and a large variety
of wicker and other oddments.
Located next to the Old Country Market. The emporium resembles
an old western town and is filled with small shops.
