Pheasant Glen
 Within
minutes of the sand and surf of enchanting Qualicum Beach,
BC, the Glengarry Golf Links offers, in effect, a pleasant
variety of two courses in one. The nines are strikingly different:
the outgoing nine holes meander through open meadow, with
spectacular Mount Arrowsmith in the background, while the
back nine winds its way between and around dense woods, with
an environmentally protected forest as a centrepiece.
Glengarry was designed with the whole family in mind and
it's 18 holes can be easily played in the average time of
about three and a half hours. With eight par-three holes,
three five's and seven fours, the layout can be stretched
to more than 5,100 yards and it gives even the low-handicap
players the opportunity to use every club in their bag.
All the amenities that golfers would expect to find at the
best of resorts are available at Glengarry; from full sets
of rental clubs, Club Car power carts, and a spacious double-ended,
grass tee practice range. Premier Golf Academy golf schools
are conducted regularly at the practice facilities.
