 The
Old School House Arts Centre, the artistic focal point for
the area, is located in the heart of the picturesque community
of Qualicum Beach on Vancouver Island, British Columbia.
Over 30,000 visitors cross our threshold every year, from
every corner of the world.
A unique aspect of The Old School House is the resident artist
studios, where artists working in a variety of mediums practice
their skill and creativity. Visitors have the opportunity
to see the artists at work and discuss different techniques
while getting a first hand perspective of the
creative process.
 The
hum of creativity fills the air and a wide array of skills
and mediums are featured. These include watercolour, acrylics,
pastels, pottery, sculpture, woodturning, fabric arts, and
photography. The finished works of the artists are also on
display in their studios. Many people who come to TOSH consider
the artist studios the high point of their visit.
