Tigh-Na-Mara's extensive Recreation program is available during the summer, Christmas Holidays and Spring Break.
Family Amenities
- Babysitting Services- Tigh-Na-Mara offers babysitting services. All of our sitters have been interviewed by Tigh-Na-Mara and have their Babysitting Certification. Babysitters will provide their own transportation to and from the Resort. Children under the age of two years require a mature sitter, 18yrs and over.
- Babysitters must be booked 24 hrs in advance and are subject to availability.
- Play Pens and high chairs are available at the front office. If you require a playpen or high chair in your room prior to your arrival, please let us know at time of booking.
- Playground Installed in June 2008, our new playground is fun for the whole family. With two sets of double slides and a ping pong table the Tigh-Na-Mara playground offers hours of enjoyment.
- One of the most extensive Children's Recreation Programs on Vancouver Island, we offer seasonal activities for kids of all ages. Kids Club, Build your own Bear, off property excursions, and more.
Family Dining
A full children's menu is available in the Cedar Room year round, high chairs and booster seats are also available.
Holidays at Tigh-Na-Mara
Couples and families alike enjoy Christmas at Tigh-Na-Mara, with horse drawn hayrides and traditional holiday dinners. Everywhere you look at Tigh-Na-Mara will feel a lot like Christmas - especially after you settle into your room and are greeted by the glowing lights of your own Christmas tree and Holiday gift.
Join us on Christmas Eve for storytelling by the fire with our resident Santa, hot chocolate and cookies and caroling too!
