Surrounded by 22-acres of forest, rich in Douglas fir and Arbutus trees and bordered by three kilometers of sandy beaches in Parksville, BC on Vancouver Island, Tigh-Na-Mara Seaside Spa Resort and Conference Center feels miles away from everything.

All 192 units are handcrafted log construction, built with real Fir and Cedar logs. There are a variety of room styles to choose from including spa bungalows, ocean view suites and authentic log cabins with wood burning fireplaces.

The lengthy, sandy, tidal flat beach lining the property allows guests to enjoy the waters of the Strait of Georgia. When the tide goes out warm tidal pools are left behind and can heat up to 70 degrees in the summertime. Scattered in these pools guests of all ages will be happy to discover starfish, sand dollars, tiny fish and crabs.

Tigh-Na-Mara offers guests a full range of daily activities from caving at Horne Lake Caves to strolling the woodlands at Milner Gardens. Mountain biking, kayaking, whale watching, golfing, horseback riding and hiking are also available by booking with the Concierge.

The resort also features an indoor swimming pool, whirlpool, steam room, fitness facility, tennis courts, volleyball, table tennis and horseshoes.

Family FUN

The Family Fun Package is designed to be fun for the whole family! Enjoy family friendly accommodation, indoor pool, and children's outdoor play area. Package includes two nights accommodation, two large in-room pizzas, in-room movie complete with popcorn and candy and breakfast in the Cedar Room for the entire family. We have even included some family fun with admission to Tiger Lilly Farms, complimentary pony rides for the kids and 10% off trail rides. A portion of proceeds benefit Variety, The Children's Charity.

This package is available every day during spring break (March 13 - 22) and daily until August 31st.

Stay & Play Package

Two or more nights accommodation; $16 daily credit* per adult for breakfast in the Cedar Dining Room; One pass per adult to the Grotto Spa Mineral Pool, Green Fee for 18 holes of golf at Fairwinds Golf and Country Club per adult and shared golf cart rental (2 adults per cart).

Please indicate preferred tee times at time of booking and Tigh-Na-Mara will confirm a tee time for your party as close as possible to your preferred time. You will receive a voucher for your green fees and cart rental; please ensure you present this voucher to Fairwinds as your form of payment. Tee times have a 72 hour cancellation policy. You should arrive 30 minutes prior to your scheduled tee time and proper golf attire is required.

Our most popular package, for a special romantic retreat. The package includes overnight accommodation, a gourmet dinner for two in the Cedar Room.
