Concierge Services
Our professional tour, travel and information staff are available
in the front office to help you book theatre tickets, arrange
a sailing charter or recommend somewhere to shop. Private
consultations are available by calling the Front Desk.
Business Centre
Our business centre is located on the upper floor of the
conference centre and offers our guests the following:
- private work stations with office supplies
- fax machine
- photocopier
- high speed internet access
- one work station with a PC offering; Microsoft Office,
Word, Excel, Publisher and Power Point
Car Rental and Shuttle Services
We would be happy to arrange a rental car for you during
your stay for pick-up at the resort or from any ferry terminal
or airport. We can also arrange shuttle services within the
Nanaimo and Parksville area as well as to the Comox Airport.
Laundry
We have several coin-operated laundry facilities conveniently
located throughout the property.
Photofinishing
Overnight photofinishing is available through the front desk.
Drop off your film one day and pick it up the next.
Flowers & Gift Baskets
We offer bouquets of roses and fresh cut flowers. You may
pre-purchase these through reservations at time of booking
or at the front desk upon arrival.
Picnics
There are an abundance of sights to see and things to do
in Oceanside, such as Milner Gardens, Coombs Market, Horne
Lake Caves and of course the beautiful beaches. Our chefs
can prepare you the perfect picnic that will compliment any
outdoor adventure.
Pets
We are pleased to
welcome your pet year round, in our “Cottage”
style accommodations.
There is a one-time $30.00 service
fee charged, which is for a deep clean of the cottage after
departure. Your pet will also receive a welcome package
from Tigh-Na-Mara!
In order to ensure that we can continue to welcome pets, we ask that you follow these simple rules:
- One pet per cottage, unless permission of management has been granted for more;
- All pets, large or small, must be kept on a leash at all times;
- Please pick up after your pet in all areas of the Resort. Doggy bags are available just outside our office;
- Pets are to be kept quiet in order to not disturb other guests;
- Pets are to be kept off all furniture, including beds;
- Excessive shedding and dirty or wet pets are to be kept out of the units. Rags are available from our Housekeeping department to dry and clean your pet;
- Pets are never to be left alone in your unit. If you plan an outing without your pet, please make alternate arrangements. You may contact our Concierge or Front Desk for phone numbers of local kennels or pet-sitters.
An additional fee will be levied if, after checkout, our Housekeeping Team discovers damage to the cottage or if extraordinary cleaning is required to meet our cleanliness standards.

Highchairs, Cribs and other Children’s Accessories
We have highchairs and cribs available for in-room use. You
may rent them by the day or longer.
Babysitting Services
Parents can choose from a wide-range of babysitters if they
wish to enjoy some time to themselves. Babysitters provide
their own transportation and fun activities for children of
all ages. Sitters must be booked a minumum of 24 hours in
advance.
